Eiling offers counselling service on a variety of issues with a special focus on clients who have difficulty with mobility or are juggling hectic schedules with caregiving duties etc. This service was started based on a belief that counselling can be made accessible for everyone, hence home-based service is available in addition to other CBD venue options, bringing counselling as close as possible to people who need it.
Eiling holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy and Sociology from National University of Singapore, as well as a Masters of Social Sciences (MSocSc) in Counselling from City University of Hong Kong where she graduated with Distinction. Her training at the Hospice and Bereavement Division of the S.K.H. Holy Carpenter Church District Elderly Community Centre had given her the chance to work with clients ranging from 9 yrs old to 87 yrs old. She is fluent in English, Chinese, Cantonese and Hokkien.
Eiling is a member of EMDR Singapore and a member of Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC).
Outside of her work, she is also a mother to three school-going children who understands firsthand, the demands of modern day society on parents who are supporting children and aged family members.
