***With COVID-19 updates in Home, D.EAT.H Workshop and Fees***
To prevent any potential transmission of the COVID-19 pandemic that is happening in our midst now, all face-to-face consultations are currently suspended till further notice. However, in recognising that there are people who may need extra support in this challenging period of time more than ever, I remain available for consultation through whatsapp video calls or whatsapp chats. Reduced fees apply. It has always been my belief that counselling should be made accessible to anyone who needs it, even those in quarantine, whether mandatory or self-imposed. You may be feeling a lot of fear or anxiety regarding your situation, but physical distancing does not mean to live in social isolation. Please reach out, if you feel you need to talk to someone.
Are you considering therapy for yourself or somebody you know?
Choosing to undergo therapy is a big step for many people and it can seem intimidating at first. Think of it as going into a forest for an adventure. You need a little bit of courage to start. You are not sure what to expect, but something is not working out in your life and you are ready to make a change. This adventure may not be for everyone – there are some who try it and decide that they will never do it again. It is not quite what they expect; it is too intense for them. But for most people, it sets you up on a life-changing path of self-discovery and growth.
Sometimes, therapy makes things harder before things get better. It is not an easy way out. It is not a quick fix. It is a process that involves a commitment to help yourself. A therapist is there to accompany you and guide you gently through this process.
